Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn, an American actress who has worked in television and film, and theatre. Since the age of 27, she has been professionally active as a gifted actress. Her first stage appearance was in 1990 when she appeared in the Off-Broadway production of The Big Funk directed by John Patrick Shanley. She was then cast for her first television role, The Perfect Tribute. In 1992, she received her first big break in the form of an additional character in Basic Instinct. The name he was born under is Alexis Thompson while his mother's name is Amanda Thompson and his father's name is Scott Thompson. Her father was an avid golfer and she began playing from a very young age. When he retired from being a competitive golfer, he became an expert golf instructor. Lexis was a member of an athletic family and would have plenty of knowledge with the sport. In 2007, she was the youngest golfer to qualify to compete in the US Women's Open. The event did not go to contest, however she won the Aldila Junior Classic in the following year and became the second. The youngest American Junior Golf Association member to ever be awarded the championship, she also won the Westfield Junior PGA Championship in the same year.
